Coastal Charms of North Norfolk
You know, after chasing fish along the North Norfolk coast for more than twenty years—dawn tides, midnight casts, all of it—we’ve learned a thing or two. Some folks even call us the go-to fly fishermen around here, though I’d say we’re just stubborn enough to keep coming back, season after season.
Anyway, it hit us a while back: why keep all those hard-won tricks to ourselves? Whether you’re a local, a visitor with a rod in your boot, or just someone who likes the idea of saltwater in your face, we wanted to share the madness. So, North Norfolk Inshore happened. No fancy mission statements—just proper fishing with people who get it.
Now, the fish. Mullet? Clever little blighters, but we’ve got ‘em dialed. Sea trout? Like silver ghosts when they want to be. But the bass—oh, those resident bass—they’re the real prize. Proper fighters, some of ‘em shoulder-wide, and they don’t give up easy. Lucky for us, they’re thick around here if you know where to look.
Speaking of which, half our marks aren’t exactly picnic spots. Long walks, sketchy tides, mudflats that’ll swallow your boots if you’re not careful. That’s where Erebus (our rib) and The Schoolie (the trusty tender) come in. Suddenly, those hard-to-reach spots? They’re on the menu.
Tell us what you’re after—shore or boat, dawn or dusk—and we’ll sort you out. No corporate scripts, just straight talk about where the fish are biting. And yeah, we’re fussy about conservation, especially with bass. Fight ‘em hard, handle ‘em gentle, let the big girls swim another day.
So yeah. Stunning views, sore arms, and maybe—just maybe—the fish of a lifetime. Drop us a line. (The fishing kind, or the other kind.)
