How to tie the Double Surgeon's Loop
A simple and strong knot used to create a loop at the end of the line. It's a variation of the Surgeon's Knot, but with a loop instead of a straight connection.
Step 1
Form a loop
Form a loop by doubling the line. For the rest of the knot, you keep the two line ends parallel.
tep 2
Make a simple knot
Make a simple knot, keeping the lines and the loop together.
Step 3
Wrap around itself
Make a simple knot again by wrapping the loop around the lines again like you did the first time. Do this one to three times.
Step 4
Pull on both ends to tighten
Pull on both the loop and the other side to tighten the knot, then cut off any excess at the knot.
